A Little About Me

Hey! I’m Tam, a twenty-something Children’s Illustrator/Animator/Designer from London, finding joy in the everyday and creating from my home studio any chance I get. I studied Illustration in Brighton and later went onto complete an MA in Animation from UAL. The overarching theme in all my work is storytelling. I love the process of bringing to life little worlds for my characters to exist, inventing stories and adventures for them. I take inspiration mostly from nature and the real people around me. Every new idea is like discovering a doorway into a secret garden. I’m always exploring new ways of working, combining traditional practices like painting and collage, with digital layering and painting in Photoshop.

Every new idea is like discovering a doorway into a secret garden.
